Price change for the 2015-16 School Year
Important Message: Price Adjustment
For the first time since we launched in 2007, we must institute a price adjustment for the online West Virginia school bus driver tests and training course.
Beginning April 1, 2015, the cost will change from $35.00 per person to $40.00 per person.
I’ve been sending out renewal lists to all of my County transportation contacts so you can get the orders/renewals in BEFORE April 1, 2015 when the price goes up.

OAPT Online Training for Certification, Recertification, or Inservice
Don’t let your training goals suffer!
We know it is a busy time, and it is easy to procrastinate. OAPT online classes are available for enrollment.
OAPT online classes can be used for Inservice, Recertification, and Certification. Each course is self-paced, and can be completed when and where it is convenient, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
| • | For Inservice Training – All drivers can benefit from quality inservice training and professional development. Each year OAPT online courses are offered with a school year designation. This means that each course is released each year for enrollment, completion, and credit. Courses can be used to satisfy the yearly inservice training requirement. Click here for the SDE approved list of topics for inservice. |
| • | For Recertification Requirements – Drivers whose certification has expired for more than a year may be eligible for the recertification curriculum. The required courses are now available online for purchase from OAPT. |
| • | For Certification – The 19 hours of required classroom training for OK school bus drivers is available for purchase from OAPT. |
