On July 4, 1776, the United States declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.
Today, many Americans will celebrate with fireworks, BBQs, and family gatherings. We ask that you take a minute to reflect on the bravery, strength, and commitment of our ancestors to take such a great step for our freedom.
This same bravery, strength, and commitment is maintained by our various branches of military and the service men and women across the country and world.
If you have a moment today, read the Declaration of Independence, pledge allegiance to the flag, and enjoy a safe Fourth of July!
